Porth Towan from Wheal Charlotte


An acrylic panting on thick paper stretched permanently on rigid board of the shoreline below Wheal Charlotte Moor between Porthtowan and Chapel Porth on the North Coast of Cornwall.     It was painted from sketches made from a precarious vantage point sheltering from a strong off shore wind that was sculpting the waves far below.   The painting measures 92 x 118 cm (outside frame measurements)
